The 15th annual Conference is being sponsored by The Citizen's Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms and the Second Amendment Foundation. More information on the conference itself can be found at http://www.saf.org
The Second Amendment Sister's panel discussion is scheduled to start at 2:30pm on Saturday the 30Th. The panel participants will be Juli Bednarzyk (Founder and Director) from Illinois, Dianne Sawyer (Founder and Director) from South Carolina, Maria Heil (National Press Coordinator) from Pennsylvania, Melinda Gierisch (State Coordinator) from Virginia, and Stephanie Sailor (Local Coordinator) from Chicago.
Each of the panelists will present a unique perspective on the Second Amendment Sisters; how they were formed, the Armed Informed Mother's March, the future of SAS, the State and Local Chapter activities, and SAS and the Media.
"We were dismayed by the foolish schemes being touted by a handful of women claiming to speak for all women. We feared that these ideas had never been fully thought out since it was clear that such measures would only make things worse," said Juli Bednarzyk of the reason for forming SAS.
Second Amendment Sisters, Inc. is a grass-roots women's organization dedicated to preserving the civil right of self-defense, promoting education and holding violent criminals responsible for the crimes they commit.
